Jeannie Cleaning Grows with Chamber Support

From trusted connections to community impact, the Chamber has played a role in Jeannie Cleaning’s growth. For Jeannie Henderson, founder and CEO of Jeannie Cleaning, business has always been personal. As a lifelong Kalamazoo resident, building her company in her hometown carries deep meaning, and the Chamber has been there at every step.
“The Chamber has played a meaningful role in our journey by opening doors to relationships that have truly shaped Jeannie Cleaning,” said Henderson. “This is especially meaningful because Kalamazoo is my hometown and I have been part of this business community all of my life.”
Through events, introductions, and hands-on support, the Chamber helped her connect with growth-minded leaders who became more than just contacts.
“Their networking events introduced me to growth-minded leaders who have become trusted friends and advisors,” she shared. “And whenever I face a unique challenge, the Chamber team is always just a call or email away with the right connection.”
Staying informed on local issues and involved with municipal leaders has been another key benefit.
“They’ve kept us informed and involved through town halls and local initiatives, helping us engage more deeply with our municipal leaders.”
In 2023, the impact came full circle when Jeannie Cleaning was recognized as the Chamber’s Woman-Owned Business of the Year—an honor the entire team celebrated.
“Being honored with the Woman-Owned Business Award in 2023 was a deeply proud moment for our entire Jeannie Cleaning team,” said Henderson. “And the member benefits have saved us thousands along the way.”
Her gratitude for the Chamber runs deep.
“I’m so grateful to have such a caring Chamber team supporting our growth and strengthening the Kalamazoo business community I love.”
