Start your internship experience with a half-day professional development program designed to give interns valuable skills, insights, and networking opportunities. Participants will connect with peers, hear from industry experts, and explore the many assets that make our region a great place to launch a career and enjoy the summer.
The experience also includes a guided walking tour of downtown Kalamazoo, giving interns a closer look at the culture, energy, and local favorites that define the city. From historic landmarks and popular restaurants to entertainment and recreation options, the tour offers a helpful introduction to making the most of their time here.

This relaxed event at Haymarket Plaza is a chance to meet other interns, connect with local professionals, and enjoy everything Kalamazoo’s vibrant community has.
