After nearly 10 years away, we are excited to bring back this annual celebration of the best in business in our community. The Southwest Michigan First Chamber is excited to announce the 2022 Chamber’s Choice Awards and the Best of Kalamazoo County. The mission: to join the community in meaningfully acknowledging and celebrating those businesses and leaders who’ve made a significant impact in our community over the past year. We are asking for your partnership in that mission. Nominations are set to begin in August with weekly Award winner announcements beginning in October. Also, look out for special videos featuring the Chamber’s Choice Awardees and their stories on our site and social media. Here are a few more details:
- Nominations in each category can be any business or leader. A diverse panel of community judges will vet the list against the criteria, including active Chamber membership as applicable, to determine finalists and/or awardees.
- The Best of Kalamazoo County and Chamber’s Choice awardees can be any business or leader that meets the criteria in your opinion. Chamber Business of the Year awardees MUST be current Chamber members.
- Your nominations for Chamber’s Choice Awards will determine the finalists in each category. Current Chamber members will then vote for the winner from the top 3 finalists.
- The Best of Kalamazoo County awards will go to the businesses with the most votes in each category.
