| Brief Description of Internship: |
| The intern will work closely with an internal team of employees to help create a sustainable model for all phases of the company's operations. Included will be research and involvement on methods to make all platforms of the Company's service offerings more efficient and sustainable. |

| Required Experience: |
| The ideal candidate will have course experience in the areas of sustainable design and/or construction, and has an interest in applying the classroom experience to an actual work environment. Areas of education that are beneficial include energy efficiency, renewable energy implementation, water conservation, waste management, air quality, life cycle analysis, carbon footprint and baseline analyses, project evaluation and cost-benefit analysis. |

| Preferred Educational Background: |
| Candidate should be enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering program with a goal of earning either an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree or Master Degree. Course study in sustainability, energy efficiency or similar class experience is required. |

MSU and U of M students must have graduated from one of the Kalamazoo area schools including: Kalamazoo Public Schools, Portage Public Schools, Allegan Public Schools, Climax-Scotts Community Schools, Comstock Public Schools, Galesburg Augusta Community Schools, Gull Lake Community Schools, Hacket Catholic Central HS, Heritage Christian Academy HS, Kalamazoo Christian HS, Lawton Community Schools, Mattawan Consolidated Schools, Otsego Public Schools, Parchment School District, Plainwell Community School, Schoolcraft Community Schools or Vicksburg Community Schools.
Candidate must be entering their Junior, Senior or graduate level in the fall of 2010.
Candidate must be a full time student for the 2010/2011 school year either as an undergrad or graduate level student.
