Brief Description of Internship:
This is an engineering intern position in the pipeline transportation industry. The intern would work with a mentor in project design, project tracking and stewardship, hydraulic modeling, energy consumption and in-line pipeline inspection.
 
Responsibilities:
The intern would work with a mentor in project design, project tracking and stewardship, hydraulic modeling, energy consumption and in-line pipeline inspection.
 
Preferred Educational Background:
Mechanical Engineering major entering their Junior, Senior or graduate level of education.
 
Time Requirement:
400 hours to be completed between April and Sept. 1, 2010

Qualifying grade levels:
    College 3rd year
    College 4th year or more
    Four Year College 3rd year

Other Qualifications:
MSU and U of M students must have graduated from one of the Kalamazoo area schools including: Kalamazoo Public Schools, Portage Public Schools, Allegan Public Schools, Climax-Scotts Community Schools, Comstock Public Schools, Galesburg Augusta Community Schools, Gull Lake Community Schools, Hacket Catholic Central HS, Heritage Christian Academy HS, Kalamazoo Christian HS, Lawton Community Schools, Mattawan Consolidated Schools, Otsego Public Schools, Parchment School District, Plainwell Community School, Schoolcraft Community Schools or Vicksburg Community Schools.
Candidate must be entering their Junior, Senior or graduate level in the fall of 2010.

Candidate must be a full time student for the 2010/2011 school year either as an undergrad or graduate level student.
