Western Michigan University?s Business Technology and Research Park (BTR Park) is home to the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center, the Biosciences Research and Commercialization Center, Western Michigan University's College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) and several life science, advanced engineering and information technology companies.
The unique composition of the park allows these companies to work closely with the university faculty, research staff and students of one of the nation's top public universities. The collaborations that result can range from nanotechnology and environmental research to initiatives in manufacturing engineering or the development of new products in the pharmaceutical arena.
