David Boyle
President, National City, Michigan

David Boyle is president of National City, Michigan.  He joined National City with the acquisition of Wayne Bancorp, Inc. in 2004, and subsequently led the markets previously served by Wayne, as well as Stark County.  Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Boyle headed the Northeast Ohio region's banking operation.

Mr. Boyle began his career in 1986 as a Certified Public Accountant and joined Wayne County National Bank in 1990.  He was named president and CEO of Wayne Bancorp in 2000 and became chairman in 2003.

Mr. Boyle has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Westminister College and is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
