Steven A. East
President, CSM Group
 

Steven A. East is the president of CSM Group. He is responsible for the daily operations of the $150 million dollar construction management company. His strength in overseeing the organization’s vision and mission has led CSM Group to become one of the top construction management companies in west Michigan.
 

He serves on the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts board of directors, is vice chairman of HUMANeX Ventures and sits on the boards of the Western Michigan University Foundation, Southwest Rehab Hospital, Downtown Tomorrow, Inc., and Bronson Health Group Foundation. In addition, his commitment to the community is shown by his involvement in the Lakeside Home for Boys & Girls, American Heart Association for Calhoun County, Binder Park Zoo Capital Campaign and MRC Industries.
 

Steven earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Construction Science and Management from Western Michigan University. He is the recipient of the 2006 Western Michigan University College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Excellence Academy Award and was a finalist for the 2005 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
