John Plotnik joined Southwest Michigan First in 2005 focusing on attracting businesses to the Kalamazoo Region. John has been directly involved in the leasing and sales of commercial real estate valued in excess of $500 million, represented more than 4.5 million commercial lease square footage and listed more than 3 million square feet of space for corporate firms in need of renewals or relocations.
In addition, he holds the honor of being the only person in the nation to hold certifications both as an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD). John currently represents West Michigan on the Chicago CoreNet Membership Committee and was formerly the President of The Commercial Network, an international association of independent commercial brokerage firms, representing 140 major metropolitan areas in the United States, Canada and Europe.
John graduated from Texas A&M University. |
